ORIGINS

The Roots of Puer

Our journey begins in the misty highlands of Taiwan, where ancient tea trees have thrived for centuries. The meticulous process of fermentation is a delicate dance of time and temperature, transforming raw leaves into a complex, layered beverage that tells the story of the land and the artisans who tend to it.

Brewing Guide

Step 1: Preparation

Use a glass or ceramic teapot. Heat water to 180°F (82°C) and rinse the tea leaves to remove dust and activate the tea's natural oils.

Step 2: First Infusion

Steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute. This initial infusion releases the tea's bright, floral notes and prepares the leaves for subsequent rounds.

Step 3: Enjoyment

After the first infusion, reduce the steeping time by 10 seconds for each subsequent round. This reveals the tea's complex, earthy, and mellow character.
